What we do

We translate public marketplace fee schedules into browser-based estimates, show the individual deductions, and explain the assumptions in plain language. The goal is not to predict a payout to the cent. It is to make a costly mistake visible before you buy inventory or set a price.

What we do not do

We do not connect to seller accounts, upload products, store calculator inputs, or sell access to your numbers. We are not affiliated with Amazon, Etsy, or eBay, and we do not provide tax, accounting, legal, or investment advice.

How we stay useful

Fee pages are dated and linked to primary marketplace sources. When a platform changes a rate, we update the affected model, test representative examples, and change its checked date. The methodology page explains fee bases, rounding, assumptions, and exclusions so a seller can audit a result instead of trusting a single unexplained number.

Editorial standards

• Marketplace policies and first-party announcements are preferred over summaries from third parties.
• Automated tests check representative fee calculations and boundary cases. Tests do not cover every marketplace exception or replace verification against your seller statement.
• Limitations are stated on the relevant calculator; account-specific exceptions are not presented as universal rules.
• Corrections are made when a current primary source shows that a fee or explanation has changed. Readers can report a discrepancy through the contact page.
• FreeFindy does not sell favorable rankings, calculator outcomes, or editorial coverage.

Funding and advertising

FreeFindy does not currently display ads or use affiliate links. The site has applied to Google AdSense. If advertising is enabled, ads will be visually separated from calculator inputs and results, and advertisers will not influence formulas, examples, marketplace comparisons, or editorial conclusions.

FreeFindy is an independently maintained educational site for marketplace sellers. Editorial decisions are based on user usefulness, transparent calculations, and current primary sources rather than the interests of a marketplace or advertiser.
