What the Etsy fee estimate includes
For a US bank account, the standard model uses a $0.20 listing fee, a 6.5% transaction fee on the item and shipping charged, and Etsy Payments at 3% plus $0.25 on the payment total, including applicable sales tax. An attributed Offsite Ads order adds 15% or 12%. The result also accounts for packaging, labor, Etsy Ads, and other seller-entered costs.
This estimate excludes currency conversion, subscriptions, Pattern, regulatory fees outside the US, VAT on seller fees, refunds, and optional services. Listing fees can also occur when inventory renews.

Why enter buyer sales tax?
Etsy Payments processing is assessed on the gross payment including applicable sales tax. Etsy-collected tax is not treated as your revenue here.
When is the Offsite Ads fee 12% instead of 15%?
Once a shop reaches $10,000 in Etsy sales over the prior 365 days, attributed orders use 12%, and participation becomes mandatory. Smaller shops normally use 15% and may be eligible to opt out.
